Boatswain Hand Cream

My two teammates and I used this balm on the Race to Alaska, where our skin was put through the washer and dryer. The balm was great as a barrier cream for our tender parts that got wrecked by sitting all day in damp clothes. And it was also great to help soothe and heal our chapped hands.

Anyone who suffers from Psoriasis knows how drying and itchy a flare up can be. Usually, I apply Aquaphor daily to the plaques and scales when it flares up. However, last week I only had Em and El Organics Boatswain Hand Cream in my purse when my scalp decided to act up. I put it on and to my surprise, instant relief! And it lasted for days, and today I noticed the general condition of my scalp is clearer! I'm going to reapply it today to see if my scalp continues to improve! Oh and my hands feel great too!

My wife and I have been using the Boatswain hand cream consistently and we have both had significant improvements to our hands and feet particularly after spending a day out on the water. I have been using it for some problem areas on my hands that haven’t responded to conventional treatments such as steroids and immunosuppressants. The cream has definitely improved these problem areas. I highly recommend it’s use.

This was a gift and it's quite nice. I work in the snow all winter so my hands take a beating. I'm not into perfume-y scents but this is nice and subtle. Leaves my hands feeling soft again:)
