Operation Sailors Code

Sailors around the world adhere to a common code: we always respond to a distress call to aid others on the water, knowing that life on the untamed ocean is often unpredictable and dangerous.

All across America, our health care workers are fighting with everything they’ve got to keep us alive, while our small businesses are in the fight of their lives to keep their doors open, all due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. Our hometown of New York City has been hit particularly hard. Like many people, we find this new reality to be heartbreaking and feel helpless in the face of so much tragedy. What if there was a way, though, to help them AND create hope and change in process? Would you do it?

Below you’ll find care packages of hand cream for purchase and we will send to hospitals in our area on your behalf. Em & El is covering the shipping costs as a personal thank you from us to you. We’ll include a handwritten note of thanks from all of us (you can customize the message if you’d like and choose a specific hospital from our partner list).

Why does this matter? You’ll be helping us, a woman-owned small business, weather this stormy crisis, while bringing some cheer and relief to our health care workers who are on the frontlines of this fight.
